A citywide basketball tournament with the opportunity to win $750 while displaying safe, unified, teamwork to the community. Purcell Buford Sr. was about family, community, and he loved sports. With his leadership characteristics, he touched the whole town of Bluefield, WV. We honor his memory not only in the Gymnasium but with this opportunity. This tournament is a single-elimination tournament lasting two weeks preliminary April 1&2 and the semifinals, and finals April 3a&4
